Nope! This course shows you how to order your own labs. No referral needed. You'll learn what Functional Medicine lab work is, which tests matter and why, your add-on test options, how to place your order, and how to complete each test, so you feel confident from start to finish.
We cover a lot! You'll learn how to order comprehensive blood work, a complete thyroid panel, hormone and cortisol testing, gut health testing, food sensitivity testing, and small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO) testing.
In most states, yes! The exceptions are NY, NJ, MA, and RI, and a few tests have limits in MD. If you're in one of these states, you'll need a provider to order them for you. However, you'll still learn what Functional Medicine lab work is, the exact tests I use in my practice, which tests matter, the optional add-on tests worth knowing about, exactly what to ask for, and how to complete each test, so you feel prepared and confident to get the testing that's right for you. (Applies to ordering within the US only)
